Now a days it is hardly of any significance but in those days when I qualified it used to be considered as an achievement for average number of attempts to qualify as a CA in those days used to be somewhere around 5 to 6 as per general belief system

Again, now a days it may be of no consequence but in those days when I qualified it used to be considered as an achievement as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India reduced my total period of articles by one year considering my exam results

Fellowship

Shortly after acquired fellowship of the The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India   

Company Secretary / Chartered Secretary

Took those examinations side by side with CA

Now a days it could be hardly of any significance but in those days when I qualified it used to be considered as an achievement for people with double qualifications in our field used to be very few, besides taking those examinations side by side demanded concentration on exceedingly heavy workload as one needed to prepare for two different professional examinations simultaneously with 8 to 10 hours of daily work as CA Article at clients offices  

Fellowship

Shortly after acquired fellowship of the The Institute of Company Secretaries of India  

Computer Programming & System Analysis

Qualified through a full time (12 hrs at college) immersion course compressed within six months which was equivalent to two years course in community colleges but not to work as a Programmer as my areas of interest were System Analysis, System Audit and System Integrity seeking to blend my Audit expertise with Information Technology.
